Married in Brighouse were Michael Deighton and Kathryn Louise Saunders.

Michael - an assistant printer - is the younger son of Neil and Maureen Deighton, of Denholme.

Kathryn - a receptionist - is the only daughter of Keith and Janet Saunders, of Brighouse.

The bride wore an ivory satin off-the-shoulder dress, with the bodice trimmed with glass beads and pearls. She had a full skirt and long veil, and carried a bouquet of arum lilies, bianca roses, deep red carnations and ivy and gold bear grass.

Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Walton, and Harriet and Colette Verity (bride's cousins).

Elizabeth wore a coffee coloured straight satin dress with an off-the-shoulder bodice, and Harriet and Colette wore short-sleeved full-skirted ivory dresses with coffee coloured sashes and trims.

They carried posies of bianca roses, deep red carnations and ivy.

Pageboy was Dominic Hirst (bride and groom's godson).

Best man was Craig Illingworth, groomsman was Daniel Saunders (bride's brother) and ushers were Alan Deighton (bridegroom's brother) and Tom Knifton.

Guests from as far afield as Cyprus attended the ceremony.
