Police have renewed pleas for information about a man who has been missing from home for over 10 months.

The last confirmed sighting of Alan James Crabtree, 42,(pictured) was in Keighley on Sept-ember 13 last year.

Detective Inspector Chris Binns - of Bradford South police division - said Mr Crabtree had been seen drinking in the town on the day he disappeared.

He told us: "We have had no sightings since then and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"He is unemployed and has not collected his benefit since September. He does have drink problems and could be in a poor state of health.

"The day he went missing there was a fun fair at Holme Wood in Bradford. One of the options we are looking at is that he may have gone off to work with the fairground, but that would be out of character. Alternatively there could have been some incident at the fair which the police are unaware of, but which the public has some knowledge of.

"Inquiries are continuing at Keighley and in Bradford, and we are keen to hear from anyone who might be able to help us."

When last seen Mr Crabtree - whose home is at Westgate Hill in Bradford - was wearing blue jeans, a blue and white woollen jacket, a white jumper and black boots.
