Detectives today said they had been "overwhelmed" by the public response for helping to identify Bradford rioters.
More than 200 people called an incident room after 20 pictures of suspected rioters were published in the Telegraph & Argus yesterday.
And officers revealed that, as a result of the campaign, four suspects had handed themselves in at police stations.
The men - a 16-year-old from West Park, a 26-year-old from Girlington, an 18-year-old from West Bowling and 19-year-old from Little Horton - were all arrested for public disorder offences. They were questioned and released on police bail.
A spokesman said there had been a great deal of support from the Asian community and he urged anyone who had problems getting through to try again today.
The hotline - on (01274) 376915 or 376916 - is open until midnight tonight and between 8am and midnight tomorrow. Urdu speaking operators are available. The spokesman said the pictures would be displayed in police stations and in Centenary Square today.
People can also contact the incident room on a special e-mail address at: bradfordriots@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
