Steeton ducked out of their Keighley Cup clash with Oakworth at the 11th hour last week.
The semi-final draw had set up a juicy tie between the Aire-Wharfe team and Oakworth who are top of the Craven league in a repeat of last year's cup final.
The match was due to go ahead on Sunday at Oakworth, but in the middle of the morning Steeton contacted the host club to say they would be unable to field a side.
Last year Oakworth took the title after a thrilling battle with the Steeton team.
"We had the ground prepared and anticipated a very good match. We were very disappointed Steeton were unable to play," said an Oakworth spokesman.
A competition official added: "It is particularly upsetting that a team should pull out so late in the competition. No doubt there would be other teams who would have been delighted to have had a chance of reaching the final."
Oakworth will now go through to meet Silsden in the final at Keighley Cricket Club's Lawkholme Lane ground after they pulled off a five-wicket victory over Ingrow.
The Bradford Central League side recovered after losing their first two wickets for just two runs, largely thanks to a fighting half centrury from Adrian Parker.
He scored 56 before being caught by John Akrigg off the bowling of Andy Pullen and a late knock of 17 from Ian Roberts gave them a total of 113 in 34.5 overs. Pullen picked up four wickets for just 14 runs in an impressive 7.5 over spell.
Pullen was also there to supply the batting fire-power to see his side to victory.
Hayden Tennent (24) teamed up with Tim Sugden to push the early scoring along and Sugden (29 not out) was still there at the end with Pullen scoring 24 not out to see them into the final.
