Bradford Bulls players Paul Sykes and Rob Parker are to remain with play-off chasing London Broncos until the end of the season.

Both full back Sykes, who will be 20 a week on Saturday, and second row Parker, 20 next month, were originally on a six-week loan and featured prominently in the televised 40-10 win over Castleford at The Valley on Saturday.

Man of the match Sykes kicked eight goals from as many attempts and after the game indicated that, pending approval from the Bulls management, he would like to remain with London and try to help them through to the play-offs.

He said then: "We've both really enjoyed our time with the club . . . I'd like to stay but that's up to Bradford.

"It would be great to help London through to the play-offs, but we'll just have to wait and see."

Bulls coach Brian Noble had no problem with them staying with the Broncos, however, saying: "No disrespect to the Alliance competition, but it's more beneficial to Paul and Rob to be playing in the Super League for London than in our A team."

Broncos coach Tony Rea is delighted the pair will remain "Londoners" for the rest of the season.

"They've both done enough over the past six weeks to earn loads of respect from the London fans," he said.

"They are both good young people and very capable players.

"It's good that they have adjusted so well and are keen to remain with us. That says a lot about our club."

Broncos chief executive Lionel Hurst said: "We must give full credit to Bradford for allowing this to happen.

"They have been thoroughly professional in their dealings, and all parties are most satisfied with the outcome."

Meanwhile, Bulls have signed promising back-row forward Victor Tordoff from Dudley Hill after trials.

The 16-year-old has already represented Bradford Schools at under 16 level, and Bulls' chief scout Eric Hawley feels Tordoff has a big future in the game.

Hawley said: "Victor has impressed the coaching staff with his attitude and his ability during trials with the club. We feel he has all the attributes to go a long way in the game.

"We are delighted that he is a product of the Bradford Schools system, and that is further proof that the substantial investment that we have put into junior development in the city is now starting to pay dividends."

The Bulls have also strengthened their scouting staff, Kevin McGuire rejoining the club after a spell at Castleford.

Hawley added: "Kevin's knowledge of junior players is second to none and we are delighted to have him back on board."
