Keighley's Mark Clarkson will make his Bradford debut in the Inter-Union match with Halifax-Huddersfield at Fixby this Sunday.

Clarkson has been showing excellent form in the Scratch League as Keighley chase promotion back to Division One including the perfect chance to impress team captain Andy Riley.

That came in the Division Two fixture at Keighley when Clarkson faced Ghyll's Riley and proceeded to beat him 2 and 1.

"I got my own back in the return fixture at Ghyll, though, when I beat him by one hole," said Riley. "He struck me as a very steady player and has been doing well in the league."

Also included in a strong line-up with Bradford making six changes as they bid to get back on an even keel after the 29-7 mauling away to Teesside is Keighley's five-times Bradford Open champion Phil Wood.

Wood needed to play in two of the last three Inter-Union fixtures if he is to qualify for selection for the Bradford team to compete in the Yorkshire Inter-District team championship at Harrogate in September.

West Bradford's Mark Evans, unlucky to lose out at the fourth extra hole in Sunday's Bradford Open play-off with Mike Bradley, returns to the team along with clubmate Darryl Berry, who was attempting to qualify for the Open Championship when they lost at Brough.

Other changes see South Bradford's Karl Curran back for his third appearance of the year along with Bradford Moor captain Neil Harker-Bell and West Bowling's Russell Simpson.

Team: P Wood (Keighley), M Evans (West Bradford), R Wheatley (Bingley St Ives), D Berry (West Bradford), K Curran (South Bradford), G Evans (Northcliffe), A Town (Northcliffe), N Harker-Bell (Bradford Moor), R Simpson (West Bowling), D Beever (Baildon), M Clarkson (Keighley), A Utley (Keighley).
