A Bradford-born singing star's latest album is taking the music world 'by storm'.
Rebecca Storm has released I Want To Know What Love Is to coincide with a tour of Ireland and one date in England which starts in September.
But far from being an overnight success, the 42-year-old has worked hard to reach the top.
Rebecca, who now lives in Dublin, got her first taste of fame as a teenager when she sang at the Wood End Working Men's Club in Shipley where her mother Betty was a regular.
The versatile vocalist, real name Elizabeth Hewlett, has taken the lead roles in countless musicals from Chess to Willy Russell's stage hit Blood Brothers during her illustrious career.
In 1995 she even stepped into Marti Webb's shoes to star as Evita at Bradford's Alhambra Theatre when Marti fell ill.
And she has recorded theme songs for the TV series Connie and Linda La Plante's Widows.
This September she begins a tour of Ireland and will sing a duet with her daughter Becky Roberts when she performs at the City Varieties in Leeds.
The singer, who left her Shipley home aged 17 for a career in show business, said: "The last time I performed in Yorkshire was in Evita in 1995 so I'm really looking forward to being back and seeing some old friends.
"My daughter Becky studies music at college in Leeds and it will be good to catch up with her.
"My mum and my two sisters will also come along so it will really be a family affair."
Rebecca's partner Kenny Shearer will be at her side throughout the tour as her musical director.
He also helped write one of the songs on the new album, and, according to a note on the sleeve, has shown Rebecca "what love is".
