Freshness will be a key word as coach Brian Noble prepares his Brad-ford Bulls players for their trip to Warrington Wolves tomorrow night.

"For some of them it will be their third game in seven days, and we will need them for the rest of the season," he said.

"Fortunately, we have a big enough squad to pick as many fresh people as we can, and that has been the emphasis this week."

Leon Pryce, Paul Deacon, Paul Anderson and Brian McDermott were all involved in the testing encounter last Sunday at Halifax Blue Sox and were also on international duty for England against Wales at Wrexham on Tuesday.

Lee Radford was a late call-up for the England game, but wasn't selected for the Shay derby.

Noble admitted that the international has affected his preparation for the Wilderspool clash, and said: "Yesterday was the first day that we have had all the squad together this week.

"We have a few bumps and bruises and need to make sure the players are 100 per cent."

Bulls are, however, optimistic that Stuart Fielden, who missed the matches at Halifax and Wrexham because of a dead leg will be fit.

The Bulls' Alliance team notched a 16-12 victory last night in a dour affair at home to Warrington, having trailed 9-0.

Tries for the Bulls came from Gareth Handford, after good work by Gar-eth Stanley, and Simon Lewis, who squeezed in at the corner after a 50-yard run. Michael Coates added four goals.
