Former Keighley Cougars boss Carl Metcalfe is to be tried for drugs charges in Leeds.
Metcalfe, 58, of Bronte Villas, Cross Roads, who was chairman of the club between 1996 and 1997, was due to appear at Bradford Crown Court on Friday charged with conspiracy to supply the drug Ecstasy and other drugs offences.
But he failed to appear for the plea and directions hearing.
His co-accused estranged wife Valerie Metcalfe, Anthony Brown and Anthony Ashley who face connected drugs charges all appeared.
The hearing was adjourned to the first or second week of September in Leeds.
Metcalfe is to plead 'not guilty' to the charges.
