A vandal, who recently plastered graffiti over a local village, has been caught on video camera scribbling in others parts of the area.
The graffiti signature was recognised after an appeal for information about the culprit appeared in the Keighley News last week.
Businesses in Heaton, Bradford, contacted the police after seeing pictures of the graffiti, which had nearly cost Oxenhope its Village of the Year place.
Most of the shops in Heaton had a similar sign etched into their windows and the cost of replacing all the glass will amount to thousands of pounds.
PC Brian Woollard said: "Some of the business came forward after recognising the graffiti in the Keighley News. Video pictures of the vandal were taken in Bradford and the police there are currently investigating it. As yet we have received no calls as to the identity of the culprit, but we do urge someone to come forward so we can put a stop to this."
Volunteers in Oxenhope also suffered from the distinctive signature, when they had spent a whole day painting their football pavilion, only to find it covered in graffiti.
On the eve of the Village of the Year competition two Oxenhope parish councillors spent another day re-painting over all the names written on it in thick black pen.
The vandalism in Oxenhope happened overnight on Tuesday June 19, but luckily the hard work of the residents paid off as the village claimed second place in the competition.
