A former Lady Mayoress has died at her home in Mirfield, aged 89.
Lilian Hillam and her late husband, Frank, were Lord and Lady Mayoress of Bradford from 1976 to 1977.
Councillor Hillam, who died in 1998, was a director of haulage contractors L Hillam & Sons. He had been a councillor since 1962.
The civic appeal during their term of office for War On Cancer raised over £140,000.
The family say people who prefer to give donations instead of flowers, can forward them to Bradford's War On Cancer at 21 Claremont.
The funeral will be held at St Paul's Church, Wibsey, on Monday with internment at North Bierley Cemetery.
A former Mayor of Calderdale has also died, aged 81. John Bradley, a councillor in Northowram and Shelf Ward for over 30 years, was Mayor in 1984. He was awarded an OBE in 1980 for his services to local government. He became one of 19 new freemen of the Borough of Calderdale last year.
