Twenty jobs in Bradford have been saved after a take-over deal by Powerhouse Retail Ltd.
Staff at the ScottishPower electrical retail store at the Woodhall Retail Park, Thornbury, were facing the axe after the company's decision to move out of the retail market to focus on energy provision.
Powerhouse Retail Ltd is taking over the store, safeguarding the future of Bradford workers.
Powerhouse Chief Executive Derrick Broomfield said: "This store in Bradford is among those we have been able to acquire to best match our needs.
"We're delighted to have been in a position to save over half of the ScottishPower jobs nationally and we're keen to integrate the staff quickly."
