Bradford Bulls head coach Brian Noble has opened the £1.25m expansion of a nursing home creating, 25 full and part time jobs for the district.
The opening of the extension at the Ashcroft Nursing Home, Undercliffe, is the culmination of two years' planning and the redevelopment includes 40 new bedrooms, a sun lounge and coffee shop. The home, owned by Bradford-based company Yorkcare, was opened in 1990 as a purpose-built facility providing care 24 hours a day.
The unveiling was also attended by the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Ghazanfer Khaliq, families of staff members, residents and representatives from companies involved in the work.
