Bradford secured another hockey victory on the back of last week's encouraging win at Ramgarhia in Leeds.
In the early stages of the game Chapeltown held a confident Bradford attack, and showed danger from quick breaks against the run of play.
One of these tested Rob Terry's astuteness in goal as he blocked a one to one challenge in confident fashion.
The second half saw the home team emerging as the better side playing the more mature hockey.
Solid support from win backs Danny Isbeques and Sam Baxter gave further dimension to their attack.
Some cameos of quick close integrated play in centre midfield by Luther Brown, Laver, Craig Tiffany, Steve Mitchell and Jaspal Panesar, brought applause from spectators.
At this point, Bradford deserved to be in the lead but the score remained 0-0. A penalty resulted from one of these moves, which Craig Tiffany despatched with panache, flicking past the keeper.
Skipper Richard Harpin failed to find the net with the keeper beaten in another move and, after some close magical stick play, Brown failed to convert a one to one opportunity with only the keeper to beat.
Harpin again failed in a keeper challenge but redeemed himself when he fired home Bradford's second with eight minutes remaining.
