Youngsters from three Bradford schools launched a colourful learning-based website.
The children, from Green Lane Primary, Margaret MacMillan Primary and Girlington Primary demonstrated experiments featured on the Children Exploring Colour and Industry website.
It is the first dedicated to colour, its design, development and use. The site, launched at Bradford's Colour Museum, has activities for primary school teachers to use with pupils.
Historian and TV presenter Adam Hart-Davis, pictured with Green Lane Primary pupils Shama Ahmed and Suhayl Adrees, was on-hand to unveil the site, which is sponsored by the Bradford-based Society of Dyers and Colourists.
He said: "It is fabulous to see all the youngsters here today. You can't force information into children but if you keep them interested like this, they will soak it up and stay interested."
The children showed experiments they have done at school using worksheets taken from the site.
Sohail Ali, ten, who attends Girlington Primary said the website was great.
Classmate Letetia King, also aged ten, agreed.
"We have found out lots of new things about colour," she said.
The address for the webwsite is www.colour-ed.org
