Vera and Alf Hubbard have never 'gone to bed' on a row.
The couple who celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary this month believe this has kept them together for 60 years.
Vera, 78, says neither of them sulk and they both know how to share.
"When it comes to money it's not 'what I've got' but 'what we've got'," adds Alf.
His stepfather worked with Vera's father in a London power station.
Alf and Vera's families often turned up at the same weddings and parties so the pair became friends then a courting couple.
They married on September 13, 1941 and lived in Ealing.
During World War Two Alf, 81, served with the Seaforth Highlanders and the Middlesex Machine Gun Regiment and travelled all over Europe. He says he survived through luck.
After the war he worked for 36 years as a shift supervisor for Ginster's Brewery in London.
The couple have two daughters and three grandchildren.
They moved to Keighley 15 years ago to be near to one of their daughters, and fell in love with the view from their Huntsmans Close bungalow.
They celebrated their anniversary with a two-week holiday in Spain.
