The humble apple was
celebrated on its own special day in Saltaire.
Families enjoyed a fun day at Exhibition Hall, which included activities such as apple
bobbing, (which Hannah Goulcher-Bijl and Sammy Lee are pictured demonstrating) ,apple art and
pruning and
grafting demonstrations, as part of National Apple Day.
Visitors were also invited to bring along cold pies for judging and people had a chance to taste apple juice from the press, toffee apples, pies, chutneys and cider.
The event was organised by Forest of Bradford and Bradford Environmental Action Trust
