The University of Bradford's campus has seen a £7.5 million investment.
Director of estates Colin Fairweather said: "Over the summer the University has been engaged in an extensive and often frenetic programme of building works involving 15 major and numerous minor projects.
"The schemes include state-of-the-art teaching facilities at the School of Management, improvements to general teaching areas on the main campus, and much-needed extra space in the JB Priestley building, for learning support."
He added: "Each project is important, but the most dramatic has been the halls of residence where refurbishment of 142 study bedrooms, together with vastly improved kitchen and bathroom facilities, has completely transformed the buildings."
He said they were now good quality, modestly priced student accommodation.
Other work has included refurbishment of the pharmacy labs and electrical engineering; work on lifts; external painting; alterations to the entrance area; new lighting in the JB Priestley library; heating boilers in the sports hall; refurbishment and fire precaution work; and repairs to the sports pavilion.
