The Queens Athletic-Fairweather Green second-round Alliance Senior Cup tie was always going to be close after the two sides met in the final.
Queens surrendered a 2-0 lead and were edged out of the competition 3-2. They made a good start, scoring against the run of play after 30 minutes through former Fairweather Green player Owen Malcolm, and Malcolm scored again early in the second half.
But Fairweather Green recovered through Danny Fawthorpe, an own goal from a Queen's defender and Paul Exley's winner.
After a good first 30 minutes, Wibsey WMC were beaten 4-0 by Westwood. They had a man sent off and paid the price for defensive errors.
Without a win in the First Division, Eccleshill Eagles provided the shocks at Bradford Moor. Moor were 4-2 down with 20 minutes to go, but mounted a comeback to win 6-4. Wes Serrant scored four.
Oakenshaw made their second cup exit in consecutive weeks when visitors Crown won 3-1. Jes Lowry led the line well with two goals.
It looked all over for Undercliffe CC at Royal Clayton in the second round of the Intermediate Cup when Ben Collier's goal put Clayton 3-1 up a minute into injury time.
Incredibly though, in the game's extra time, Undercliffe toppled a shell-shocked Royal 4-3 with goals from Carl Roberts (2) and Steve Brandon.
After leading twice in their tie against Ring O'Bells, defensive errors cost Quarry again as the young visitors ran out 3-2 winners.
While Steve Mason ran the show in Queensbury Reserves 3-1 win at Monkey, 1B leaders Chellow turned the second half pressure on Idle who had done well to be level 3-3 before being routed 9-4. Chris Harrison finished top scorer with four goals.
Waggoners 90 made it into the third round with a 6-1 win over Fountain. Steve Hird and Karl Yewdall both scored twice. Steve Smith who had scored four hat-tricks in a row could only muster a solitary goal. Ross Brodley made it six.
The matches between West Bowling and Hare & Hounds (First Division) and Wyke Wanderers and Saltaire Rangers (Intermediate Cup) were called off in respect of the tragic death of 21-year-old Paul Wilson.
Sycamores moved into round three of the Amateur Cup after beating Nab Wood Juniors 3-1. Wayne Best scored on his debut and set Rob Holmes up for his goal. Juniors added the third with an own goal.
