Gary Shaw became only the third player to score seven goals in a Sunday Alliance League Premier Division match with East Bowling Unity's drubbing of Craven Heifer.

Shaw, who took his tally to 28 for the season, turned provider in the second half to lay on two goals for substitute John Kilner in East Bowling Unity's 11-1 victory.

Albion Sports were 2-1 winners at Calverley Victoria in a game of flowing football, Godwin Douglas collecting his first Albion goal.

There was a second hat-trick of the season for Ben Smithson in the second half in Wrose Bull's 4-0 win at Stanley Road.

In a tight First Division where two points separated the top four teams, Pudsey Royal went back on top with a 5-1 win over St Pat's. Still without a win, St Pat's produced a creditable first half display but fell away in the second period. Jason Day completed a hat-trick.

Brian Carr was man-of-the-match and Danny Mullarkey, a signing from Crown in midweek, scored on his debut in East Ward's 3-2 win at Ventus where the home side's late rally after being 3-0 down deserved an equaliser.

Bank Top, enjoying their best season for some time, moved into second place in Division 1A with a derby win at Clayton Orient. Long-serving forward Neil Magee collected two goals in a 5-2 scoreline.

With only one league win before Sunday, Move It Removals turned on the style, beating Shoulder of Mutton 7-2. Gavin Summers scored four.

White Eagles could field only eight men in their Division 1B fixture with Albion Sports Reserves. Doing well to hold Albion 1-1 at the interval, Eagles found the handicap of being three men short too much to cope with and went down 6-1.

Wibsey WMC were held to a 6-6 draw in a fluctuating match against Junction. Wibsey were 2-0 down and then 4-2 up thanks to Martin Pullan's first half hat-trick. They then trailed 5-4 before settling for a draw. With the top three sides in Division 1B in cup action, Station moved to joint top with a 2-1 win at Dudley Hill Rangers.

Bolton Woods, who missed last week's first round of West Riding County Cup action due to FA Sunday Cup commitments, were 7-2 winners at Devon (Leeds). The sides were level 1-1 at half time, but Woods got on top after the break and Paul Sharpe, Andy Wilkinson and Rhys Stead all scored twice.
