Australian Michael Withers and loose forward Mike Forshaw were the surprising inclusions among seven Bradford Bulls players named today in the Great Britain squad to face France in Agen a week tomorrow.
Full back Withers qualifies through his Irish grandparents, while Forshaw has come out of internatioal retirement.
The other Bulls players in a squad of 24 are props Paul Anderson and Stuart Fielden, scrum half Paul Deacon, second row Jamie Peacock and centre Leon Pryce.
Also included is former Leeds Rhinos and now Sydney City Roosters second row Adrian Morley, subject to medical clearance.
