An inter-school football contest helped Asian and white pupils bridge the racial divide.
The five-a-side tournament went ahead at the Porishad sports centre in Manningham, thanks to a grant from the Kick Racism Out of Football scheme.
Organiser Khalil Hussain, a learning mentor at Springwood Primary in Manningham, said he wanted to forge new links between schools in the inner city and outer parts of Bradford.
Teams from primary schools in Manningham, Keighley and the Bolton Road area of Bradford took part.
A poster competition was organised at the same time, with children asked to design posters to show what they understood by racial harmony.
Mr Hussain said: "It isn't about winning but about taking part, and getting them to understand that we are all the same."Pictured are Hassan Ellahi of Heaton Primary and Ryan Newton of St Francis' school.
