Bradford Park Avenue hauled themselves out of the bottom three of the UniBond Premier with a stunning 2-1 victory over Emley on Wednesday but will need another effort of mammoth proportions tomorrow.
They travel to Giant Axe to take on second-placed Lancaster City in a classic Roses derby. The Red-Rose outfit are the only unbeaten club in the UniBond and boast the league's leading scorer in 16-goal Andy Whittaker.
Avenue's assistant manager Ian Thompson said: "There are no easy games, if there were I would ask someone to line us four up.
"The boys are very confident and can't wait to get going. If you can beat Emley you can beat any team in the division."
Striker Jason Maxwell missed the midweek win with an ankle injury and may not play tomorrow. And long-term absentees Neil Bagshaw and Paul Wharton are still sidelined.
Thackley continue their quest for FA Carlsberg Vase glory.
The visitors to Dennyfield in the third qualifying round are North West Counties top-tier outfit Woodley Sports. Thackley reached the round by virtue of a 3-2 victory over Liversedge.
Following last Saturday's 4-0 stroll at Brodsworth MW in the Northern Counties East Premier-Division Thackley will be high on confidence and well rested after a free midweek.
But midfielder Joe Richardson will miss the game after suffering a reaction to his recent knee injury. Central defender James Reilly is included in the squad for the first time after impressive displays in the reserves.
Liversedge are the only other local semi-pro side with home advantage this weekend, they are still looking for their first league victory of the season and host Borrowash Victoria.
The Derby-based club are new to the Northern Counties East Premier Division but are currently riding high in sixth place after just three defeats from ten starts.
Centre-back Neil Dillon returns from a five-week suspension and midfielder Paul Smith is back in contention after a one-week ban.
In the same division Eccleshill United travel to Garforth Town. Just two points separate the sides but the Leeds club have a top-six place.
In the UniBond Division One mid-table Guiseley travel to struggling Belper Town. Following their FA Cup replay defeat in extra time at Brigg Town on Wednesday Farsley Celtic journey to basement outfit Kendal Town.
