DAVID NELSON hammered in six goals as Bocking handed out an 11-2 lesson to Cottingley.
The experienced Bocking outfit scored eight first half goals while Cottingley found the net twice at the other end.
In the second half Bocking were restricted to three further goals as Cottingley refused to give up. Bocking scorers were nelson (6), Darren Midgley (3), M Labbett and Lee Nelson.
There were more twists than a country lane as Three Horses pulled off a 6-5 victory over Skipton in a thrilling encounter. The game started with a goal in the first minute for Skipton and both keepers were kept busy in the end-to-end action which followed. Horses found the net three times in the last five minutes to go 3-1 up at the break.
There was also a goal in the first minute of the second period with Three Horses pulling further ahead. Skipton fought back and with 15 minutes to go they were on level terms. It looked as if the points would be shared but with the last kick of the match Three Horses took the points.
Steve Townley crowned a super performance with a 40-yard goal as Shoulder of Mutton secured a 5-2 victory at Wilsden. The home side took and early 2-0 lead only for the visitors to hit back with four goals before the break. Townley's strike was the only goal of the second half, Shoulders other scorers were K Spencer, W Carty (2). Oliver Driver and A Carr scored the Wilsden goals.
Keighley United beat Royal Oak 8-2 in a bottom of the table clash.
St Annes started their game against Midland with nine men, but had managed to put together a full team midway through the first half. Midland were not at their best, but managed to pull off a 4-0 victory.
