Wrose Albion lost their hundred per cent record as league leaders Keighley Juniors romped to an 8-1 victory after an even opening period.

After 20 minutes Juniors were awarded a penalty which opened the flood gates. By the break they had a 4-0 lead. They continued to take command in the second half and scored four more goals before Dave Scott grabbed a consolation goal from Wrose.

Paul Driver scored five for Juniors with Howard Wellwood adding the other three.

Silsden kept their 100 per cent record -- despite losing a player with a broken leg.

The Cobbydale outfit secured a 2-0 half time lead against Royal and after the break added two more before Royal manager Steve George brought himself on and scored his side's opener. Lee bailey added two more to set the game alight.

The match was held up for 40 minutes as a Silsden player was taken to hospital with a broken leg and his side held out for a 4-3 victory which moved them into second place in the league.

Andy Thornton took his total to 17 goals against the basement side Old House at Home. After scoring 12 the previous week they kept him down to five last weekend as Baildon New Inn piled up another 21 goals. Pete Griffith and Kristian Knowd both scored four with double strikes from Leigh Thornton, Garteth Wilkinson and John Brear. Goals from Steve Driver and Steve Goodsell completed the rout although Old House did manage to score a goal to make it 21-1.

Sandy Lane continue to improve and were on top throughout their 6-0 victory over Oddfellows 2000. Richard Hibbitt scored twice and Patrick Smith, Chris Burke, Richard Wood and Dave Strappie added one each to seal victory.

Wayne Birdstall was man of the match as New Inn Windhill secured a 3-1 victory over JPL Victoria. Neither side could break the deadlock in an entertaining first half and Craig Lawrence gave JPL the beark early in the second period.

Windhill his back with Birdsall scoring twice and Matthew Atkinson securing the points.

Boltmakers Arms were 2-0 up before Angel scored from a 20-yard free kick. Bolts dominated the second half to run out 6-1 winners with John Kilby and Steven Bradshaw both scoring twice while Paul Eccleston and Paul O'Neill scored one each.
