Bradford Bulls have six players in the Great Britain squad of 20 for the Test match against France in Agen on Friday.
They are props Paul Anderson and Stuart Fielden, scrum half Paul Deacon, loose forward Mike Forshaw, second row Jamie Peacock and full back Michael Withers.
The only Bradford player to miss out from the 24 named last Thursday for the French match and the three-match Ashes series is centre Leon Pryce.
He twisted his knee in the 37-6 Grand Final victory over Wigan Warriors at Old Trafford nine days ago and has been ruled out because of injury, as have Wigan hooker Terry Newton, who broke an arm in the same match, Adrian Morley and Paul Sculthorpe.
coach David Waite sees the French match as an important step towards the three-match series against Australia next month.
He said: "This match is a serious international encounter for us, but beyond being a competitive exercise we will also get the chance to see how certain things work out in different areas of the team.
"We will be watching our progress at both half-back and hooker and will have a much better idea of where we are after the match against the French."
