A takeaway boss has called for more police on the beat following vandalism attacks on a string of Asian-run businesses in Baildon.
Meanwhile, police are appealing for the public to help them catch those responsible.
The Telegraph & Argus reported last week how thousands of pounds-worth of damage was caused when vandals smashed windows at five premises in Northgate and Cliffe Avenue.
Bosses at two of the firms said they believed the attacks, after 1am on Saturday, were racially motivated and possible 'reprisals' for the attacks in America.
Tony Lai - who last week took over the lease at Master Chef, on Cliffe Avenue to be a Chinese takeaway - said: "We need more police on the beat to stop this sort of thing.''
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "We have finite resources and have to manage those as best we can."
