Eleven girls from Crossflatts Primary School in Bingley were triumphant in a sports competition.
The nine, ten and 11-year-olds from the school in Crossflatts near Bingley won the Year Five and Year Six team awards for the Bingley Harriers Winter Sports Hall Mini-League.
The competition involved a range of track and field events and was held at Beckfoot School in Bingley. The girls are pictured above with their medals and the Bingley Harriers mascot Hound Dog.
Meanwhile, Bingley Harriers sent several incomplete junior teams to the first West Country race of the season at Bramley Fall Woods, Leeds. Performance of the day went to Louise Geldart who won the under-17 women's race in 20min47sec with 51 seconds to spare over Helen Glover of Keighley & Craven who finished in second place.
The Bingley team of Sam Clegg (8th), Luke Johnson (12th) and Bob Daly (13th) finished in second place in the under-17 men with Steve Dirrane of Leeds the winner in 21min37sec. The next round is at Adel, Leeds on Sunday, November 4.

Bingley Boys: 21 Elliot Dawson 14.53; 35 Jonathan Picken 18.06. Under-15 Girls: 1 L Kirk (Skyrac) 14.05. Bingley Girls: 24 Hannah Rugen 16.01; 29 Vicky Walker 16.11. Under-15 Boys: 1 M Maguire (Halifax) 18.51. Bingley Boys: 23 Philip Picken 23.06. Under-17 Women: 1 Louise Geldart (Bingley) 20.47. Under-17 Men: 1 S Dirrane (Leeds) 21.37. Bingley Men: 8 Sam Clegg 23.03; 12 Luke Johnson 23.43; 13 Bob Daly 23.51 (second team). Junior Men: Adam Walker finished 68th overall in the senior race and 7th junior man.
