Australia's opening tour match on Sunday against a National League XV at Leicester has already led to the postponement of two National League One matches involving Yorkshire clubs.
Rotherham's clash at Rugby tomorrow - the South Yorkshire club provide six players - and Wakefield's trip to manchester have bitten the dust, but Otley's attractive home match against Worcester is on.
And that is despite fly half Simon Binns and centre Phil Greaves from the Cross Greeners being selected in the squad to face the Aussies. Worcester are also supplying two players.
Ian Shuttleworth reverts to fly half for Otley, Tim Foster coming in at full back. The new centre pairing is Robert What-muff, recovered from a rib injury, and Mark Billington, and Matt Walker is on the wing in place of the benched Mark Kirkby.
Second row Paul Williams, returning from injury, is on the bench, having played 40 minutes for the third team last week.
Wharfedale also have a tough home test in National League Two against Stour-bridge, but have Andy Hodgson back on recovery from his 'dead leg' against Esher.
However, flanker Ryan Kirkbride has been pulled out to play for Rotherham's Academy side, Sam Allen stepping up.
The Bees, who are struggling away but are unbeaten at home, make it a hat-trick of enticing home contests when they face Halifax in North Division One.
The hosts select from 18, but they will be without No 8 Andy Woodhead, who drop-ped out of last Saturday's match at Hull Ionians at less than 24 hours notice with a shoulder injury. Included, however, is Leeds Metropolitan University hooker Alex Bowden.
Cleckheaton are without influential flanker Craig West when they tackle Goole at Moorend in North Two East, Craig Rika dropping down from the second row. Dave Ingham is back in at lock.
In a weekend of intriguing home matches, Keighley are at home to Skipton in Yorkshire Division Two, and recall experienced winger Kevin Young and flanker Mark Lister. Former skipper Young replaces Nigel Curr, who suffered concussion and deep head lacerations at Ilkley last week. Lister is in for Paul Salmon.
Lock Jason France and winger Russell Donoghue, late cry-offs last week because of work commitments, are included in Bradford Salem's squad of 18 at home to Hessle in Yorkshire Division Three.
Fine games for the A team have led to the promotion of Andy Whitley and Nick Oddy into Baildon's 18-man squad for the Yorkshire Four match at Moortown.
Following their first victory of the season (22-6 at home to Withernsea), Wibsey are seeking their first away win in five years at Burley in Yorkshire Division Six.
Wibsey have Danny Horsfall back after suspension and Richard Hands returns at No 8. Also named in a strong Wibsey side is second-rower Mark Ryan, who returns after several niggling injuries.
