A poll carried by disability care charity Leonard Cheshire has shown that most firms in Yorkshire regard disabled employees as an asset - but are failing to attract them to interviews.
Manager of the group's IT training and employment service, Andrew Anderson, said: "This is a common problem we have been trying to resolve by launching jobability.com, an Internet recruitment service targeting disabled job seekers.
"This site is certainly helping employers to widen their net and find the best person for the job."
