Long Lee Under-15s B pulled off a 6-21 victory at Cowling with goals from Matthew Harrison (2) followed by Danny Sylvester, Michael Smith, Matthew Langford and Michael Donohoe. Goalkeeper Danny Edwards also saved a second half penalty and Joseph Flaherty was man of the match.
Long Lee Under-10s A beat Cullingworth/Harden A 4-0 after Myrosh Allen opened the scoring with a powerful drive. Matthew Kershaw chipped the goalie for the second and Craig Donegan made it 3-0 with a superb solo run. Jack Pearson dominated the midfield and sealed victory with the fourth goal. Jack Pearson shared the man of the match award with Jack Hinsworth who was solid in defence.
Long Lee Under-10s B made it six wins out of six to move three points clear at the top of the league. They cruised to a 5-0 victory over Cullingworth/Harden with an outstanding captain's performance from Matthew Pearson who rifled home four goals in the first half. Pick of the goals was a 25-yard drive into the top corner. James Marshall sealed victory with a neat finish. Philip Smith produced a season's best performance to share the man of the match award with Matthew Pearson.
A spirited team performance earned Long Lee Under-10s C a 4-3 victory over a strong Shipley D team. Shaun Redman opened Long Lee's account with a good finish. Shipley equalised almost immediately but the hardworking Redman was quick to reply before a second Shipley goal made it 2-2 at the break. Tom Ford pulled off some tremendous saves and Sean Quinlan made it 3-2 before Redman completed his hat-trick to secured the man of the match award. Shipley grabbed a late goal, but time ran out as they pressed for an equaliser.
Long Lee Under-8s A kept up their 100 per cent record with a comfortable 3-1 victory at Shipley. After racing into a 3-0 half time lead, with goals from George Wysocki (2) and Luke Narey, the second half was much closer after a number of substitutions. Luke Narey and Dale Feather shared the man of the match award.
Long Lee Under-8s B produced a strong performance to beat Shipley 2-0 with man of the match Matt Stowell scoring both goals.
Oakworth Under-13s met Harrogate League side Ilkley in the first round of the Leeds United Millennium Cup. Sam Mudd scored in the first minute but oaks allowed Ilkley back into the game and conceded two quick gaols. Ross bailey scored from the penalty spot to put Oakworth back on level terms but Ilkley captured the lead again before half time.
An early second half goal from the visitors seemed to spur Oakworth on and goals from Oliver Gee, John Butcher and Joe Judson saw Oakworth through to the second round 5-4. Butcher was named man of the match.
