Parents who kept 13 children at home in a row over places have now sent most of their children to school.
Nine former pupils of Long Lee Primary School have started lessons at Greenhead High School in Keighley.
The pupils were due to start at the school in September, but parents kept them at home in protest over a lack of choice for places.
Another family has sent their child to a school in Settle and three other families are waiting on appeals.
Although the parents say their quarrel is with Education Bradford and not Greenhead, they have expressed concerns about education at the school.
Ian Ford, who has been co-ordinating the parents' campaign, said: "The protest for the parents was not going to last indefinitely, and most of the parents have sent their children to Greenhead."
Parents who put down Parkside School in Cullingworth as their choice were dismayed to miss out.
They were told that Long Lee was not part of the Parkside's catchment area.
They argued that Parkside had let in students from Long Lee the previous year and that they gained the impression their children could go to Parkside, but it was oversubscribed. A total of 65 cases went to appeal this summer with 14 children accepted at Parkside as a result.
The Local Government Ombudsman has announced that an inquiry will be carried out into the matter.
