A Baildon driver was robbed in his car while he waited at traffic lights in Shipley.
The 26-year-old was returning home from Bradford in his Audi TT at about 8.30pm on Friday when a green car pulled up behind him at the junction of Otley Road and Valley Road near Shipley Fields.
One of two men got out of the green car and smashed his passenger window with a hammer to reach a bag of business documents on the seat. The driver grabbed the bag, but was hit on the arm with the hammer. His attacker snatched the documents, ran back to his car and sped towards Shipley. The driver, who believes he was followed from work, suffered injuries to his arm but did not require hospital treatment.
The man who smashed the window was described as Asian, aged between 18 and 20, with a very thin face and short dark hair. The first half of the vehicle registration of the green car was L161.
