On-loan winger Matt Etherington would jump at the chance of a longer stay at Valley Parade.
Etherington, who is with City for another three weeks, is relishing the prospect of playing first-team football again after being stuck in the shadows at Tottenham.
He wasted no time in winning over the fans on Saturday by scoring the first goal after just six minutes.
Etherington said: "I haven't got a clue what is going to happen. But I've got another five games here and hopefully I will do well for Bradford.
"If they want me for another month after that and Tottenham say it's all right, I'd be more than happy to stay.
"Playing first-team football again is great, although any decision will not be in my hands. But they are a good bunch here and I'm really enjoying it."
The 20-year-old shocked himself when he headed home Gunnar Halle's cross to spark the goal rush against Watford.
"You can't go any better than scoring with your first touch on your full debut - and I'm definitely not known for my headers.
"That was probably the only one of my career so it was a great time for it to come."
As the new boy, Etherington has quickly picked up on the dressing-room vibes from City's recent slump.
He said: "Obviously I haven't been involved in the previous five or six games, but you can tell with the lads there's a bit of a lack of confidence.
"When Watford got their first goal, you could sense all round the team that everyone was thinking "look out".
"It was a bit nervous at the end but we defended well to get the win and that will do wonders for everyone.
"If we can beat Wimbledon tonight we're up the top again. And if we go to Crewe and get something there, everyone will have forgotten any talk of a crisis."
As a natural wideman, Etherington is enjoying his licence to roam in City's attack-minded formation.
"The team like to get forward which suits my game down to the ground.
"It's good to be part of because we create so many chances and that can only be helping the way I play.
"I'm still trying to get my fitness right after going so long without a first-team game. But once that happens hopefully I'll come on and keep improving."
