THE catwalk may be calling for a young Ilkley girl as she has reached the finals of a national modelling competition.
Francesca Rhodes, ten, of Curly Hill, hopes her face will fit for the judging panel of a competition, run by clothing store Mackays.
Francesca, a pupil at Sacred Heart Primary School, was first selected as the winner of the Ilkley store, on Station Road.
She then made it through to the regional finals and beat off stiff competition from 17 other girls.
Now Francesca has her hopes set on being named as the national face of the Kylie Club, the store's young fashion department.
Francesca, a keen gymnast, said: "I am very excited and happy about it. I didn't think I would get as far as I have done."
Ann Eaton, manager of the shop, said: "I think its good both for her and for our Kylie department and for the company.
"Let's keep our fingers crossed. She was thrilled to be the store winner and now she has won the area round."
The winner of the competition will model Mackays' clothes on the Kylie Club website and for internal publications for the company - andwin an all-expenses paid trip to Glasgow for the photo-shoot.
