GUISELEY extended their winning run to four games at Ossett on Tuesday night but manager Neil Parsley thought they were "a little lucky" to do so.
He said after the game: "Our mini run continues although I thought we got out of jail at Ossett."
"I thought we were lucky. Both sides had injuries so we should still have been stronger but they hit the woodwork three or four times in the first-half and we went in only one down.
"In the second-half we were better and had more possession. Nicky Hey scored for us - although I thought it was off-side - and then young Kevin Newhouse produced a great finish. Both sides hit the woodwork.
" I cast my mind back 12 months and we were in a similar position to Albion playing some reasonable football but with nothing going right for us.
"We now seem to be getting the rub of the green. I don't feel sorry for Ossett but I can see how they feel aggrieved at the way things are going for them."
The strong wind on Tuesday night made it difficult to play controlled football. Ossett Albion toook the lead on 20 minutes with a strike from one time Guiseley striker Danny Toronczak.
Andy Shuttleworth got in a right foot shot for Guiseley but this was saved. Nicky Hey shot over the bar and then Ossett hit the bar just before the break.
In the second-half Guiseley levelled through Nicky Hey. He took a pass from Phil Sharpe in the 49th minute to put Guiseley on terms.
Peter Sumner then drove a shot wide in the 54th minute.
In the 59th minute Guiseley netted their second when Shuttleworth played an excellent ball to Newhouse and the youngster buried his right foot shot.
There were plenty of chances being created by Guiseley with Sumner hitting a post, Mark Stuart shooting wide and Newhouse having his effort cleared off the line.

Kendal Town 0
A goalless draw was written all over this dull game until a late strike from Mark Stuart sealed the points for Guiseley.
A lack lustre first-half produced few chances if any on a difficult muddy surface. Guiseley supporters had little to cheer and were demoralised by a further injury to defender Simon Phillips who returned to action this season after being out of the game for almost two years.
Kendal gave Guiseley little time or space and the small strike force of Kevin Newhouse and Lee Reilly, who had played so well against Harrogate, were given poor service. They were left to chase long balls out of defence when it was obvious that more progress was to be made by keeping the ball on the ground.
Clive Freeman was again a calming influence at the back in his sweeper role. Young 'keeper John Lamb provided the highlight of the game so far with a superb one-handed save. On 83 minutes a throw in was headed on by substitute Phil Sharpe into the path of Mark Stuart who struck home from the edge of the area.
