KEITH SPENCE scored a hat-trick as Shoulder of Mutton played out a thrilling 4-4 draw with Silsden Athletic.
Shoulder were 2-1 up at the break with Athletic soon getting back on level terms after the restart. In a fast and furious second half the game switched from end to end, but Silsden looked to have the points in the bag as they snatched a 4-2 lead.
Shoulder refused to concede defeat and added two more goals to grab a share of the points. Shoulders scorers were Spence (3) and W Carty.
There was little to choose between Skipton and St Annex Celtic in a goalless first half. Midway through the second period Skipton scored the opening goal of the match.
The score gave them renewed confidence but although they took control they missed a penalty and could only add one more goal for a 2-0 victory. Skipton's scorers were Ian Tyrer and S Cox.
Three Horses gave little warning of what was to come when they took a 1-0 first half lead over New Inn. After the break New Inn's young team let in a further three goals without reply.
Bocking took a 2-0 first half lead over Wilsden, but really opened up in the second period. They piled on the pressure scoring a further five goals and although Wilsden refused to give up they could not find the back of the net.
Bocking's scorers were David Nelson (4), Darren Midgley (2) and Garry Binns.
Keighley United beat Royal Oak 8-0 in a completely one-sided game.
