PILKY'S A team Pool star Paul Burrow has re-written the local sporting history books -- by winning all six local trophies in the same season.
In the past month he has won the Men's Doubles event with team mate Dave Ibbs, took the Mixed doubles with his girlfriend Stephanie Clark, and most recently took the Men's Individual title with an emphatic 5-0 victory over Dave Colquitt in the final.
The wins were added to the premiership and two cup successes with the Pilky's team to complete a clean sweep of the Keighley District pool trophies.
Following his incredible success Paul is set to take on the 'Big Boys' by following in the footsteps of fellow Pilky's players and World Pool Champion Chris Melling, but joining the UK Tour.
"A lot of the country's professional players already know Paul's reputation and will be well aware that he won't give any of them an easy ride," said Pilky's team captain Lee Vause.
n Burrow also won the first John Smith's sponsored Keighley District Ranking event, beating Craig Thornton 10-5 in the final.
In the early rounds he beat Anthony Foulger and Tim Pearson. Lee Vause lost 9-6 to Thornton in the semi-final and Bob Andrew went down 9-4 to Burrow.
Details of the second event will be announced shortly.
