Two women have flown thousand of miles to be with their mother for her birthday.
Mary Milner, of Mayfield Place, Wyke, celebrated her birthday yesterday with her children.
Sisters Ann Murray and Patricia Georgeson felt it was important to be together for their mother's 84th birthday.
Ann refused to let the American attacks put her off, saying: "You can't let things like that effect your personal life and the last time the three of us were together was in Chicago in 1998."
She flew from Chicago where she is a school secretary. Sister Patricia, who flew from Hong Kong, is also here.
