Five generations of a Keighley family have kept a tradition alive with the help of the Keighley News.
When Margaret Keene was just a baby she appeared in the March 14, 1936 edition of the Keighley News with four other female generations of her family, including her mother, Clara Fox, and grandmother, Clara Pearson.
On March 20, 1980, five female generations of the family appeared once again in the pages of the KN.
This time the two Clara's, Margaret and daughter Stephanie Fiona Cowburn were joined by the latest addition to the family, Clair Hazel Cowburn.
Now with the birth of Clair's son the family reunited for the third time to continue the family album tradition.
Oldest member this time is Clara (Fox), 87, who celebrated with daughter Margaret, 66, grand-daughter Stephanie, 41, great grand-daughter Clair, 20, and the latest arrival, three-week old Zacharia-Kurt Stephen Cowburn-Crooke.
Margaret, of Crossflatts, said: "It started when I was a baby and by a natural occurrence of events we have managed to keep the tradition going.
"Previously it has been all women and Zacharia has stopped that in its tracks, but we don't mind that.
"We are really proud of our mum -- she is the rock that holds us together."
Stephanie, who lives in Woodhouse, joked: "We must have a bit of Cliff Richard's genes in us, or it must be something in the water."
Clara added: "I had a hard life to begin with and maybe that has made us all resilient.
"It's nice to continue the tradition and I'm very proud of the whole family."
Clara still bakes a Christmas cake every year to celebrate her wedding anniversary on December 22 to Harold -- who died eight years ago.
The family extends its seasonal wishes to KN readers and has expressed its thanks to staff on Airedale Hospital's labour ward.
