All of the top six non-league sides in the area will be hoping the forecast of milder weather comes soon enough for them to get back into full swing tomorrow.
Bradford Park Avenue are due a visit from Hucknall Town in the UniBond Premier, and manager Trevor Storton is aiming to build on their victory at fourth-placed Barrow.
"We have played over the Christmas break and can't wait to get back onto the pitch following our great win, but we are all just waiting for the temperature to get back above freezing," he said.
"Andy Hayward has served his one-match ban so we will have an even stronger squad for the Hucknall game.
"Dean Calcutt played just half of the game because he had been out for seven weeks. His hamstring has had no reaction to that 45 minutes so he is in contention for a place."
Basement side Hucknall have as many as four games in hand on some of their fellow strugglers but are bottom on goal difference after scoring just 19 times in 21 league matches.
If the game is called off, the club's Christmas draw will be postponed until the next home league game.
Both local Division One sides, Guiseley and Farsley Celtic also have home advantage.
Guiseley face a mid-table battle with Matlock Town and will be looking for an improvement after being held to a home draw by relegation-threatened Work-ington last Saturday.
Midfielder Andy Shuttle-worth comes back into contention after sitting out a one- match-suspension.
Farsley Celtic have been hit more than most by the postponements.
Their last four matches - two at home, two away - have been shelved.
Martin Haresign's men have not played since the 2-0 reverse at Leek Town on December 15, but he is hoping they can make headway against Trafford.
They are just three places higher than struggling Celtic, but boast an eight point advantage.
Haresign has new signing Gavin Bassinger - a midfielder from Premier Division Gains-borough Trinity - waiting to make his debut.
In the Northern Counties East Premier Division, the only one of Bradford's three representatives scheduled to play at home are Eccleshill United.
They hope to have two new signings to unveil when they host high flying Sheffield.
The best placed local side in the division are Thackley, and they could improve their standing with a victory at Hallam.
Midfielder Amjad Iqbal is back in contention for the first time since early December following a debilitating virus.
Liversedge travel to Selby Town with a 15-man squad in the hope that midfielder Andy Yates recovers from a rib injury in time. Skipper Asa Hatfield and striker Paul Smith miss out because of suspensions, but Guy Parkin returns to the squad for the first time since November because of injury and a subsequent ban.
