David Abbey, 55, has been a familiar face at the Ilkley branch of the newsagent chain WH Smith for almost 20 years.

Mr Abbey, of Fieldhead Road, Guiseley, said he had many happy memories of working in Ilkley and that over the time he had spent there, the good times far outweighed the bad.
He told the Wharfedale Observer: "I have had some good times and some bad times but the good times far outweigh any bad times."
Mr Abbey lives with his wife Brenda, and has two children Matthew, 25, and Rachel 27.
He said he might start looking for a part-time job and was looking forward to his retirement and having more free time.
