Motown and musicals, rock 'n' roll and religion, operatic ballet and Oscar Wilde - all make an appearance at the Grand Theatre this winter.
Madame Butterfly becomes the latest classic to be cross genres and become a Northern Ballet Theatre production.
The ballet is set to the music of Puccini's classic opera for its UK premiere at the Leeds theatre on February 15-23.
Craig Urbani stars in the musical Grease (March 18-23), while Sing-A-Long-A Abba arrives on March 25/26).
Bill Bryson's bestselling book about Britain, Notes From A Small Island, is performed by comedian Steve Sheen on March 3.
Shakespeare's The Tempest, classic sci-fi and rock 'n' roll songs are combined in the musical Return to the Forbidden Planet on April 2-6.
Dancing in the Streets is a presentation of Motown's greatest hits on March 27 by star singers Mary Wilson, Martha Reeves and Edwin Starr.
Marti Webb stars in The Magic of the Musicals featuring songs from Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret, Cats, Miss Saigon, Whistle Down The Wind, Evita and Chicago, on March 28.
Comedy comes from Lenny Henry (March 31), Lee Evans (April 7) and the Reduced Shakespeare Company in The Bible (April 14).
Moscow Ballet La Classique performs Giselle on March 29/30 and Barbara Dickson sings on May 5.
Carol Rosa Opera performs a new production of Gilbert and Sullivan's original The Pirates of Penzance on April 8-13, and Kate O'Mara stars in Oscar Wilde's classic comedy A Woman of No Importance on May 6-11.
Other coming musicals are Carousel by Leeds Amateurs (February 26-March 2), Evita (June 5-15), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (July 1-6) and Whistle Down The Wind (July 8-20).
