Queensbury and Shelf Urban District Council will be asked next Wednesday to make available a piece of land in Shelf Hall Park for use as a cycle speedway track. Following a request from the Shelf Youth Movement, supported by the Queensbury and Shelf Youth Council, for further consideration of the proposal the Cemetery, Recreation and Allotments Committee decided to ask the Council to approve the use of a piece of land at the north west end of the fish pond.
