Chellow's first defeat of the season has thrown the Division 1B promotion race wide open. After a goalless first half Chellow raced into a 5-0 lead before a sensational fightback in the game's last 20 minutes saw Albion Reserves hit six goals.
Bradford Ukrainians' battle to avoid the drop from Division 3B suffered another setback with a 6-2 home defeat at the hands of promotion-chasing Ventus Junior Reserves. Sol Peltier and Wayne Campbell both gabbed two goals for Juniors, Chris Patterson and in-form Johnny Clifford adding the others.
Eccleshill Sunday Reserves took the points in a mid-table clash with Albion. Nick Hird and Steve Garner scored two apiece, Lee Cooper netting Albion's consolation in a 4-1 defeat.
Oddfellows Hall narrowed the gap on Division Four leaders Rose & Crown to three points with a game in hand after a 5-2 home win over Fox and Pheasant. Hall's win was a family affair. Andy Holmes set them on the way before Gavin Yates added the first of two. Gavin's father Adie added the third before son-in-law Andy added his second. Gavin then rounded off the game with the fifth goal.
