Members and staff at Cannons Health Club in Cottingley have raised more than £1,300 this year for the mental health charity Mind.
The money has been raised through a series of charity events throughout the year. Some of the most successful have included sponsored challenges in the gym, car washing, quiz nights, sponsored ironing, social evenings and salsa sessions.
Nicola Radford, administration manager, said: "The passion of staff and members has been enormous. It has been hard work but also great fun and certainly worth the effort.
"Now we are starting to plan our projects for next year."
Sean Trinter, a director at Mind, said: "Cannons' commitment to our work has helped us increase awareness of the benefits exercise can bring to mental well-being and we are looking forward to continuing our work with them next year."
