Otley'S very own radio station is set to return - possibly twice this year.
Wharfedale FM, which went on air for two weeks last year around Otley Victorian Fayre, could return to the airwaves as part of the Queen's Golden Jubilee celebrations.
And organisers are hoping to bring it back again either to run alongside the Otley Vintage Transport Rally in September or once again during the Victorian Fayre.
Nigel Francis, one of the main organisers, said they were hoping to secure a special Golden Jubilee grant.
He was also in the process of applying for the necessary licences from the Radio Authority.
"I need to apply for the licences as soon as possible, but I don't want to spend between £2,500 and £3,000 on licences if we then find we haven't anywhere to broadcast from, so I need to find out if I can then cancel the licences if I need to."
Mr Francis said reaction to the radio station was still coming in.
"I reckon I've had between 50 and 60 people telling me how good they thought it was. There were things we didn't do quite right, but we'd aim to get those right next time," he said.
Mr Francis added that it looked like the radio station had come out more than £500 in profit.
Meanwhile, he said they were hopeful Wharfedale FM would return.
Guiseley FM is currently planning to go on air for a month from the end of June to coincide with Guiseley Festival.
And with Wharfedale FM, if it goes ahead, going on air at the beginning of the month, to coincide with the Queen's Golden Jubilee on June 3, it could be a good couple of months of fans of amateur radio.
"We're looking at going on air for two weeks around the Queen's Golden Jubilee which will also mean it being on at the same time as Otley Carnival which I'm sure will please the carnival people," he said.
A meeting is planned for later this month when contributors to the station will be asked for their ideas.
