As frost, rain and fog all contrived to wipe out the majority of fixtures over the weekend games in the Wharfedale Triangle League survived - some with the switching of venues. Yeadon Town's home game with Olicanian Academicals was switched to Ilkley where in a tight game Olicanians edged home 6-5.
There were two hat-tricks in the game - one for Yeadon's Kris Tattersfield and one for Olicanians' Stuart Dibb. Other scorers for Olicanians were Tom McDermott, Paul Dawson and Mick Lawson while Danny Cox and Steve McDougall got Town's other goals.
Other games involving Triangle League sides on Sunday saw Horsforth Rangers go out of the County Sunday Trophy 4-1 Wyke Wanderers.
In the Premier Division Dave Gilks netted four times as Rawdon beat Ilkley Dynamo 8-2. Other goals came from Richard Machell (2), Danny Hough and Simon Preston.
In Division One Shipley Town beat Menston 10-1 with goals from Ian Irvine (3), Paul Stevens (2), Harry Armitage (2), David Summerscales (2), Andy Ives. Gareth Myers replied. Westfield beat Hawkhill 4-1 with goals from Peter Day, Craig Jackson, Oliver Seed and Carl Douglas.
