Anyone whose birth date was February 6, 1952 can apply to join the Queen and Prince Philip at the July 9 event.
Guests must be British nationals currently living in the UK. Each can take one companion, who should be at least 18 years old.
To apply, write - enclosing a copy of your birth certificate together with the name and address of your companion - to John Lyles CBE JP, Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, 14 St Anne's Road, Leeds LS6 3NX. The deadline for applications is January 31.
Craven council has announced it will not be organising a district wide celebration to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee this year.
It plans to leave the festivities to the parish councils in the district.
The Queen, who this year marks her 50-year reign, is planning a nationwide tour.
It will involve visiting West Yorkshire on July 11 and 12.
A spokesman for Craven council said: "When there have been national celebrations in the past, such as the millennium, the council decided not to get involved itself in organising activities.
"It has left it to the parishes and local communities."
