Police are appealing for witnesses after a 17-year-old girl was indecently assaulted in the Leeds Road area of Bradford in broad daylight.
The incident happened on Monday at 10.50am.
The victim had just got off a bus before the Wakefield Road roundabout and was walking towards the Job Centre when she was approached by an Asian man who started pestering her to go out with him.
She said no but he persevered and grabbed her arm.
She pushed him away and walked off but when she approached a pedestrian crossing in Wakefield Road she found she was still being followed and the man became more persistent.
She tried to cross the road but he grabbed her again and indecently assaulted her. She lost her footing, fell, twisted her ankle and banged her head on a fence.
While on the ground she managed to kick the offender, who ran off.
The victim made her way home and was taken to hospital.
On the way there she saw the offender again in the same place.
A police spokesman said: "The girl was treated for her twisted ankle and banged head in hospital but not kept in."
The suspect is described as six feet tall, in his early 30s, with short dark hair and a strong Asian accent.
He was wearing a blue T-shirt with white stripes across it, black leather knee-length coat and cream trousers.
He wore a sovereign ring.
